Ms. Shanahan is an accomplished interior designer with more than twenty years of professional design experience. As Principal, she oversees and manages the design team as well as creates exceptional designs for the firm’s portfolio of boutique and branded projects. In addition to hospitality, Ms. Shanahan has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, health care, assisted living, and residential projects. Ms. Shanahan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade & Marketing from Bentley College and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has a Masters in Interior Design from Suffolk University. She is NCIDQ, a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH).
Scott P. Rosenberg
Mr. Rosenberg takes a unique, holistic approach of architecture, design, master planning, and real estate strategy to create practical solutions to add value to hospitality assets. He has more than 30 years of experience in architecture and real estate development-related fields and is a licensed architect in 25 states and the District of Columbia. He is also a NCIDQ-certified interior designer. His hospitality experience spans renovations and new buildings for select-service, extended-stay, boutique, full-service, conference-center, and luxury hotels. Mr. Rosenberg holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida, a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Johns Hopkins University.
With more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Feldman's expertise includes work as an Architect and Owner’s Representative in the direction and management of multi-million dollar commercial, institutional, educational, residential, and hospitality projects. Prior to joining Nehmer Mr. Feldman worked on the feasibility, design, and construction of diverse projects including hotels, high rise commercial corporate headquarters, educational facilities, civic projects, and housing development projects. He received his Bachelor and Master of Architecture degree from the Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Complementing his education in Architecture, Mr. Feldman completed his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University in December, 1999, and is a member of the Maryland Bar.
Ms. West has over 20 years of experience in diverse management and design experience. As Design Director, Ms. West is responsible for overseeing design projects from concept to completion. She is a detail-oriented individual with experience in hospitality, high-end residential, commercial, retail, and senior living architecture and interior design. Ms. West received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design with minors in Business and Art History from East Carolina University. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ); US Green Building Council (USGBC); and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Ms. Newton is a highly successful interior designer and architect with more than twenty years of professional design experience in the hospitality, multi-family, casino, and cruise line industries. As Design Director, she supervises and leads the design studio as well as develops creative designs for the firm’s hospitality projects. Before joining the team, Ms. Newton was a Program Director / Studio Director for a multi-family/hospitality interior design firm. In addition, Ms. Newton has held various senior positions at design firms and ownership groups, where she gained valuable experience designing and managing large-scale luxury projects. Ms. Newton received her Masters of Business Administration and a Certificate of Project Management from Keller Graduate School in Orlando, Florida. She also has a Master of Architecture for the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota.
Ms. Perkins brings a vibrant, innovative perspective on interior design and a strong sense of organization and attention to detail to the HVS Design team. She leads the firm's team of designers in producing design and construction documentation and providing contract administration services during the installation phase. Before joining HVS Design, Ms. Perkins worked as an interior designer at an international design firm, where she played an important part in the design and implementation of notable projects. Ms. Perkins received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Boston Architectural College in Boston, Massachusetts.
